We used multiple copies of a photo to create a layered, 3D effect. We had to think about what was going to be in the background and what needed to 'pop' in the foreground.

2020 Totora Clay Sculpture

We learnt about light and colour and layering paint. We spent time outside learning to look at the sky and grass with an Artist's eye. Is the sky only one, flat shade of blue? How can we show light and reflection?
